Starter Decklists

Building a first deck for any card game can be daunting, and especially so when the game is played with multiple decks per player. On this page you will find links to decks with a how-to-play guide embedded within to get you started and as a reference for what a common deck looks like. All of these decks can be found on Emeralddb. These decks are tailored for beginning players, but that doesn't mean that they are bad decks by any stretch of the imagination. The only simplifications here are that cards that are tricky to use are avoided, and that you will have a couple of cards that help you with your honor management.

There are several versions of starter decks. The core set Imperial decks and the Emerald Legacy starters.

We have decks that use only cards from the core set and that are built using two core sets. These decks follow the Imperial format and ignore any restriction list. The instructions within these decks will tell you how to mix up your splash clan if you want to play against another deck out of the core set that would use the same cards from your collection.

The second listing are decks made with full collections for usage with jigoku or in person if you happen to have a full collection. These decks are tailored to the Emerald Legacy format. These are tournament legal as they follow the Emerald Legacy's law to the letter.
