Deckbuilding

Coming up with new and creative deck designs is one of the great pleasures of card gaming. Thematic decks which draw upon the flavor of a particular clan, house, or aspect of Rokugan can be wonderfully evocative to play. 'Jank' decks focus on a unique combination of cards that, while unlikely, can result in explosive success under the right circumstances. For this section, however, the focus is competitive deckbuilding.

A strong competitive deck must have the right balance of powerful cards, synergistic combinations, and an awareness of the current metagame. When this balance is achieved, you can enter tournaments with the confidence that you have given yourself every chance to succeed.
